Halesworth cat that sustained wound to leg in suspected shooting has leg amputated

A Halesworth cat which sustained a wound to its leg in a suspected shooting has had to have its leg amputated.

Suffolk Police are investigating the incident, which took place near Kennedy Avenue at around 2pm on Friday, January 7.

The cat is suspected to have been shot. Its back right leg was wounded to the extent that the leg has since been amputated.
