Airbnb, home of bargain holiday stays that often see you sleeping in someone's spare bedroom, is also home to some more expensive hidden gems to rent for a summer staycation.

If you're looking to remain local this summer and want a taste of the luxury lifestyle, look no further, as we reveal some of the most expensive Suffolk properties available to rent on Airbnb.

Butley Barn - £3,000 per night

Butley Barn, located in Suffolk coastal town Aldeburgh, is a rustic barn conversion that sleeps up to 14 guests and costs £3,000 per night.

With seven bedrooms and a large, open plan living area, the barn has plenty of space, gorgeous views and luxury amenities.

Guests are permitted to bring pets and the stay comes with a gym, patio and gardens.

While the barn is typically self-catered, they do offer partially catered options, meal deliveries with local pubs and the possibility of daily housekeeping.

Located on a picturesque country lane in the village of Butley, just 20 minutes drive from the town of Aldeburgh, the secluded location is relaxed and secluded with a yoga studio and hot tub.

Crespigny House, Aldeburgh - £621 per night

The 17th century mansion sleeps 8 guests and its rustic, modern features make it a beautiful home from home for £621 per night.

Described on AirBnB as the "perfect English get away," Nedging-Hall, located on a five thousand acre estate in Ipswich, is being offered to groups of up to 30 guests from this month.

Featuring a billiard room, 15 X 6 metre natural salt swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, stables and a koi carp pond, this Georgian country home sits at £2,829 per night.

Grand staircases and plush decor meet modern amenities and home comforts in this breathtakingly British stay.

Nedging-Hall is preparing to offer wedding packages for the location, which has a church nearby on the estate, with spokesperson Helen Cobb saying they are ready to begin taking bookings.

Helen said the location, close to local pubs and in countryside perfect for clay pigeon shooting and outdoor activities, is the perfect getaway for stag dos and holidays.

Fauna & Flora in Worlingham, near Beccles, could be your home away from home this summer at the cost of £883 per night.

This 5 bedroom house sleeps 9 guests and is set in 448 acres of land.
