BBC show Escape to the Country visits Beccles for potential piece in an upcoming series

A popular BBC lifestyle show filmed in a Suffolk town this week.

Escape to the Country, which has been on the network for more than 20 years, visited Beccles.

The show aims to help prospective buyers find their dream home in the countryside.

A spokesperson for the show said film crews were in the town for a potential piece in an upcoming series.

Around 1,200 episodes of the show have been made since production began.

Episodes are broadcast on BBC One and Two.
