Group use vehicle to ram garage at Ellough business and steal 12 electric scooters




At least a dozen electric scooters have been stolen from a business in Suffolk after a group of people used a vehicle to ram a garage door at the premises.

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after the business, in Ellough near Beccles , was burgled on Saturday, October 10 at about 9.25pm.

Officers said a group of eight or nine people travelling in two vehicles arrived at the address, on Ellough Park Raceway on Benacre Road, before cutting the gate chains and using one of the vehicles to ram a secure garage door.

Between 12 and 15 electric scooters were stolen from within.

The vehicles involved are thought to be a Suzuki Jimmy 4X4 Jeep and a Ford Transit van.

It is believed that during the incident another vehicle drove up to the site but the suspects told them to leave.

Police would like to trace the people who were in this vehicle as they could have information to assist the investigation.
