Family of Alexander Wilford, from Worlingham, pay tribute to him after A12 Blythburgh crash
A family have paid tribute to a 29-year-old man who died following a crash in Suffolk.
Emergency services were called just before 7.30pm on Thursday, May 25, to reports of a two-vehicle collision in Blythburgh, near Southwold, outside the A145 junction involving a motorbike and a stationary van.
The man has been identified as Alexander Wilford, of Worlingham, near Beccles, and his family have given Suffolk Police a tribute to issue on their behalf.
“Alex was a man full of ideas and possibilities: he had a beautiful soul and made the world a better place by being here.
“Alex lived in Worlingham but worked all over Suffolk. For most of his working life, he was a knowledgeable and passionate tree surgeon.
“Recently Alex diversified into the world of vehicle recovery and in April this year he fulfilled his dream and started up his own business, Aqua Trad.
“Alex was a wonderful partner, son, uncle and friend. He is missed immensely by his partner Rachel, his mum and dad and everyone else whose lives he touched and has so many happy memories of him.”
Officers are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
