Bungay arson suspect, 22, arrested by Suffolk Constabulary after fires on Hillside Road West and Queen's Road

A 22-year-old man has been arrested after arson incidents in Bungay - in which he is suspected of setting several bins alight.

The unnamed man was cuffed yesterday after three incidents separated by a number of weeks around the town.

Suffolk Constabulary said three bins were set alight in the Queen's Road area on December 6. More bins were then set alight on the same road on February 7.

In connection is a third bin fire on Hillside Road West on February 2.

The man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage (not endangering life) and was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Station where he was questioned and then released under investigation.
