Ilketshall St Lawrence Halesworth Road residents could face water disruption as emergency repairs carried out

Residents in an East Suffolk village could be faced with disruption to their water supply today.

Water supplies around Halesworth Road in Ilketshall St Lawrence, near Beccles, could be affected.

This comes as emergency repairs are carried out in the area.

Essex and Suffolk Water have said the homes may be affected until around 1.30pm.

A spokesperson said: "We are carrying out essential repair work in your area which may affect water supplies. We expect to be finished by 1:30pm."

They added that residents may notice discolouration to their water or experience low water pressure while work is carried out.
