Staff member at QD store in Beccles subjected to racially aggravated assault

A staff member at a Beccles shop was subjected to a racially aggravated assault.

The incident, which also involved a common assault, was in the QD store in New Market on Saturday between 2.25pm and 2.45pm.

The shop worker was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s, who was wearing a dark green beanie hat, sunglasses, dark green long-sleeved top, black trousers and black trainers.

He is believed to have fled the scene on a black electric scooter.
