Clinks Care Farm near Beccles holding charity football match at Bungay Town Football Ground
A farm which works as a social enterprise and offers placements to vulnerable people is organising a charity football match in Bungay.
Clinks Care Farm, in Toft Monks, near Beccles, helps people with health and/or social care issues through farm therapy, social care, work preparation or educational placements.
On Saturday, the farm bosses are holding a charity day at Bungay Town Football Ground with all funds going back into the farm.
Alfie Bowen, a professional photographer and ambassador for the farm, said: "It is great to see this fantastic fundraising event return after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
"After attending the care farm myself for several years during a difficult time at mainstream high school I know first-hand just how important their work is - it can literally save and transform lives, and fundraising events like the football match are crucial in enabling the farm to help more people.
"It's wonderful to see the Clinks community enjoying themselves, and I hope to see many people cheering them on."
Gates open for the charity day around midday ahead of a 1pm kick off.
There will be a BBQ using produce from the farm, a grand auction.
Entry is free.
Auction lots include signed Norwich City FC merchandise, luxury produce and meat hampers from the farm.
There is also a signed Artist Proof 1/1 edition of Alfie Bowen's newest photograph, entitled 'We Are Family', which was taken at the farm recently.
