Basement Jaxx return after 10 years to perform at Latitude 2025 at Henham Park

Electronic duo Basement Jaxx are returning to the stage after a decade away for Latitude 2025.

The popular band, known for hit tracks like ‘Where’s Your Heat At?’ and ‘Red Alert’, will be joining next year’s festival alongside Sting, Snow Patrol, and Fatboy Slim.

With the festival taking place once again at the grounds of Henham Park from July 24 to 27, the duo will close the Obelisk stage on Friday night.

Festival director Melvin Benn said: “Basement Jaxx are the ultimate festival act.

“Their performances are a whirlwind of energy, packed with euphoric pop anthems, dazzling visuals, and a vibrant cast of musicians, singers, and dancers.

“Anyone who has witnessed their blistering performance of 'Where’s Your Head At?' during a headline set at Glastonbury will know exactly what I mean. Having them close Latitude’s Friday night is the perfect way to kickstart the weekend.”

Basement Jaxx was established in 1994 and consists of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe and the pair rose to fame in the underground house scene during the mid 90s.

Over the past decade, the band has remained a staple at festivals, but primarily performing behind the decks rather than at the forefront.

Now, the time has come to reintroduce their full, immersive technicolor experience to the stage.

Felix said: “It’s great our hits are still very much alive with younger generations.

“So we connect across the age range — and it’ll be great to pop in a couple of bangers from our forthcoming album too.”
