Thirty-two-year-old horse Tango rescued from pond in Mutford's Holly Lane by firefighters

Fire crews from Lowestoft, Wrentham and Beccles were called to assist a 32-year-old horse this morning, after it became stuck in a pond in Mutford.

Crews were called to the scene at Holly Lane at 8.30am, after 'Tango' the horse fell into the pond and became trapped.

Firefighters used specialist rescue equipment to remove Tango safely.

The horse was freed and crews by 9.40am.
