Beccles Library in Blyburgate to host advice sessions, after the HSBC in New Market closed

People impacted after a town lost its HSBC branch will have the opportunity to speak to bank staff at pop-up events in a library.

Beccles HSBC in New Market closed in June, and key bank details for customers were transferred to Lowestoft’s branch.

The town’s library in Blyburgate is now planning to host HSBC staff to give advice on July 12 between 9.30am and 12.30pm, August 1 between 11am and 2pm, and August 17 between 10am and 1pm. No monetary transactions will take place.

HSBC will be holding a pop up branch here at Beccles Library!

HSBC branches in Sudbury, Stowmarket, Newmarket and Woodbridge have been shut.
