999 calls working after technical issue, but system may not be running to full capacity

Suffolk’s police, fire, ambulance and coatguard services have held a meeting to manage the national 999 outage this morning.
999 calls stopped working due to a technical fault, but BT has confirmed this has been resolved.
The system may still not be working to full capacity In an emergency, Suffolk residents are advised to call 999 to start with. If you cannot get through, call Fire and Rescue on 01480 444500, the police on 101, the ambulance service on 111, or the coastguard: 01262 672 317
The issue impacted a number of emergency services nationwide.
