Cartoonist John Elson takes a look at national Recycling Week

It's national Recycle Week and, as usual, Bury Free Press cartoonist John Elson has his own take on it.

Now in it's 18th year, Recycle Week follows hot on the heels of Zero Waste Week which was highlighted by recycling champion and Bury Free Press columnist Karen Cannard.

John, a self-taught artist, has been drawing cartoons for newspapers for nearly 20 years.

He draws the cartoons digitally using a stylus and large art tablet.

He also attends festivals, weddings and corporate events drawing live caricatures.
