Part of the A14 in Suffolk has reopened after emergency services were called to two incidents.
The major route was shut eastbound between junction 44 at Bury St Edmunds and junction 45 at Blackthorpe, near the sugar beet factory.
A Suffolk Police spokesperson said a wheel came off a car heading westbound and hit a car going eastbound.
At 1.11pm, a National Highways spokesperson said that police officers and the ambulance service were at the scene.
All lanes were reopened shortly before 2pm.
One ambulance attended the incident but no medical care was given.
