A14 at Risby reopens after crash between car and lorry
Part of the A14 in Suffolk which was closed following a crash between a car and a lorry has now reopened.
The eastbound carriageway was blocked at Risby between junctions 41 and 42 after the collision this afternoon, which left one person trapped.
Emergency services were on the scene, with a Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson saying two people had been injured in the crash.
Both were left in the care of the ambulance service and fire crews left the scene shortly before 5pm.
The incident had been cleared and all lanes of the A14 eastbound between junctions 41 and 42 had reopened by 7.45pm, Highways officials said.
They added: "There is now no congestion in the area. Thanks for your patience if you were held up."
