More news, no ads

Ever wondered as you pass the the rear of The Apex venue in Bury St Edmunds what lies behind the square turquoise sign announcing: Stage Door?

Suffolk News decided to find out and followed the route taken by more than 2,500 artists including big names and modern day legends including Nigel Kennedy, Brian May, Lulu, Bastille Jason Manford and Mumford & Sons.

We take a stroll through the picture-lined corridors, no-go areas, and have a snoop around the spacious dressing rooms - equipped with lighting, fridge and piano for relaxing pre-show.

Somehow, we also end up on stage.

Over the last 10 years, The Apex has become a premier music and events venue with people travelling from all over the country to see the shows.
