Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill accountants, Jacobs Allen, snapped up by accountancy group, Scrutton Bland
An accountancy group has snapped up a well established and highly respected firm as part of its growth strategy.
Scrutton Bland has acquired Jacobs Allen chartered accountants and tax advisors, which has offices in Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill.
The company says the acquisition marks a significant milestone as part of its wider growth strategy, expanding its reach and strengthening its presence in the region.
Jacobs Allen has been a prominent name in Suffolk since 1993 and is known for its high-profile work, deep-rooted client relationships and commitment to service.
The company says the move brings together two firms that share ‘a passion for client-focused solutions, community involvement, and a dedication to supporting local businesses’.
Scrutton Bland, part of the Sumer Group, has offices in Colchester, Ipswich and opened a Bury office in June 2023.
It says Jacob Allen’s clients can expect the same personal approach and high-quality service to while also benefiting from the additional resources, expertise, and innovative services Scrutton Bland offers.
