arc Shopping Centre’s Summer Show raises £800 for Still Good Food, based in Bury St Edmunds




A family fun day featuring a popular dog show has raised more than £800 for the Still Good Food charity.

The annual Summer Show was hosted by arc Shopping Centre, in Bury St Edmunds, on Wednesday.

A raffle helped boost the fund-raising total for Still Good Food, which is based in the town.

Families were encouraged to make donations for activities including a penalty shoot out, mini golf and a balloon modeller.

Allan Hassell, centre manager for the shopping centre, said: “The Summer Show is always a marvellous day for all of the family to enjoy.”

“It was great to see so many members of the local community come together and have fun all whilst raising money for charity.

“I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the event for digging deep and helping us to support Still Good Food.”

Mr Hassell said site staff, the events team, volunteers from Still Good Food, entertainers and traders helped make the day a success.

The dog show included the categories: Best Dressed Pooch, Loveliest Lady, Most Fabulous Fella, Most Pawsome Pup and Golden Oldie.
