The Great House Hotel and Restaurant in Market Place, Lavenham, wins approval for alterations

Alterations to a Grade II listed hotel and restaurant have been granted.

Babergh District Council has approved plans for the creation of an outdoor courtyard to form an additional meeting room, WC and glazed walkway at The Great House Hotel in Market Place, Lavenham.

Owners said the plans are to enhance existing business use for the hotel and restaurant.

Lavenham Parish Council also recommended the alterations for approval.
