Thetford videographer and celebrant from Woolpit, near Bury St Edmunds, win Hitched.co.uk Wedding Awards

A Woolpit independent celebrant and a Thetford videographer and photographer have won awards from a highly-popular wedding site – voted for by happy couples.

Steven Howe-Bull Ceremonies won in the Celebrants category in the Hitched Wedding Awards, with Paul Mindy Videography taking home the Videography award.

Both received five out of five ratings and top reviews for their services, making them some of the most recommended professionals by newlyweds on the Hitched.co.uk website.

Steven who got a job as a registrar with Bury St Edmunds Registration Office in 2020, the day prior to the first coronavirus lockdown, before going independent in October 2022, said: “I am absolutely delighted to receive this award from such a prestigious national wedding authority.

“Even more so as the award recognises the feedback from those couples whose wedding ceremonies I have conducted.

“I love my job and winning this award is the cherry on the cake after my transition from the Suffolk Registration Service to creating my own business as an Independent Wedding Celebrant for Bury St Edmunds and the wider county."

Paul, who has had some of his images feature on ITV and the BBC, said that winning his award was ‘an absolute dream come true for me’.

He added: “It is an incredible validation of the passion, dedication, and creativity that I pour into every project.

“To be recognized among my peers in the industry is truly humbling and fills me with immense gratitude. This award is not just a symbol of achievement, but a testament to the trust and happiness I have been able to bring to countless couples through my work.

“I feel deeply honoured and inspired to continue capturing the magic of love in motion.”

The Hitched Wedding Awards this year were based on more than 150,000 couple reviews on its website for around 23,000 wedding businesses which it has listed.
