Police are appealing for witnesses after an abusive message was spray painted on a road sign on the edge of Bury St Edmunds.
The sign on Fornham Lane, just before the Westley Interchange roundabout, was vandalised between 9.30am and 7.30pm on Saturday.
Police believe someone may have had to park a vehicle next to the sign to to access it.
They would like to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or has dash cam footage.
Call Suffolk Police on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
