Chambers Green development in Needham Market welcomes potential buyers to view five new homes




Potential buyers in Needham Market will have the chance to view five new homes on a property development in the town.

Appointments to view the the homes on the Chambers Green development - a joint project between Mid Suffolk District Council and Norse Group - are now open.

A total of 133 new homes will be built, with the first phase due to be completed by spring 2022.

The development is part of a wider vison for Needham Market. Built on the former offices of Mid Suffolk District Council, the development will also include a natural community space, library, café and a vistor centre at Needham Lake.

Although the part of the original building is listed, its features will be preserved as part of the development.

Cllr Gerard Brewster, cabinet member for Economy, said: "I am pleased to see the development at Needham Market taking shape.

"Our investment in this project not only helps us realise our goal of delivering local homes, but also helps to support the economy in Mid Suffolk, developing sustainable communities, and providing as many people as possible with a place they are proud to call home."

Cllr Suzie Morley, leader of Mid Suffolk District Council, said: "We are committed to investing in our market towns and this development shows what is possible.

"Together with our partners, the local community and businesses we can work to ensure the infrastructure and facilities are in place to ensure Needham Market can continue to grow and thrive."
