Area in Thetford sealed off by police after 16-year-old girl sexually assaulted




An area in Thetford has been sealed off by police after a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.

The incident was shortly after 11.30pm yesterday, in Ely Way, where the victim was approached by a man before being sexually assaulted.

The man, in his late teens or early 20s, was described as black, of slim build, about 6ft and had black hair.

He was believed to have been wearing black clothing.

The area has been sealed off and officers are conducting reassurance patrols in the area.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information, to come forward.
