Armed police spotted in Cornhill in Bury St Edmunds

Armed police were spotted in a Suffolk town centre.

Eye witnesses reported seeing five police cars, police dogs and armed officers in Cornhill, Bury St Edmunds, at around 10.20pm last night.

It is believed the incident was resolved around 40 minutes later.

Suffolk Police has been approached for comment.
