Bury St Edmunds Railway Station incident sees man arrested on suspicion of assaulting police officer

A man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a police officer after multiple emergency services were called to a railway station.
Police and the ambulance service attended Bury St Edmunds Railway Station tonight to reports of a disturbance on the platform.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of drunk and disorderly behaviour and assaulting a police officer.
Four police cars and two ambulances were outside the station at about 8pm.
Two other police cars and a police van were also seen leaving Station Hill.
