NatWest in Bury St Edmunds reopens after closure due to staff member's Covid-19 contact

The Bury St Edmunds branch of NatWest was forced to close yesterday after a member of staff was informed they had been in contact with someone with Covid-19.

The bank, in Cornhill, has since reopened after it was deep cleaned and all staff tested negative for coronavirus.

A spokesman said: "The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is paramount and in line with government guidelines the branch was closed for deep cleaning.
