NatWest in Bury St Edmunds reopens after closure due to staff member's Covid-19 contact
The Bury St Edmunds branch of NatWest was forced to close yesterday after a member of staff was informed they had been in contact with someone with Covid-19.
The bank, in Cornhill, has since reopened after it was deep cleaned and all staff tested negative for coronavirus.
A spokesman said: "The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is paramount and in line with government guidelines the branch was closed for deep cleaning.
"In that time we continued to offer customers a range of alternative ways to bank including at the local post office, through our online and mobile app."
