Beck Row motorcyclist named as Lackford crash victim
A 54-year-old man who died following a road traffic collision in Lackford has been named by police as Raymond Day, of Falcon Way, Beck Row.
Officers were called around 2pm on Saturday 12 September to reports of a collision on the A1101 Bury Road between Mr Day’s white and green Kawasaki motorbike and a black Vauxhall Astra.
Mr Day died at the scene. The male driver and female passenger of the Astra sustained minor injuries.
Police are trying to trace the rider of another motorcycle seen in the area shortly before the collision as they may be able to assist with enquiries.
Anyone with information about the other motorbike, or anyone who saw any of the vehicles either prior to or at the time of the collision, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 101 quoting reference CAD 211 of 12 September.
