Our Bury St Edmunds business improvement district sets up coronavirus information page for member businesses

Business owners in Bury St Edmunds who are in need of support and advice amid the coronavirus crisis can now access a dedicated information page.

The Our Bury St Edmunds business improvement district has set up the page which will offer links to government information and advice as well as that from other agencies. Messages from the BID to their members will also be published on the page.

Mark Cordell, chief executive of Our Bury St Edmunds, said: “We are in an unprecedented situation at the moment and looking at all that we can do to support the town centre businesses, while ensuring that people practice social distancing to prevent unnecessary contact which risks spreading the Covid-19 virus.

“If any of our business members are without access to the internet and can’t visit this page then they can still reach us by phone – the BID office number will have a recorded message indicating which member of staff to contact.”
