Brandon woman, 36, admits taking and distributing indecent child photographs




A Brandon woman has pleaded guilty to arranging the commission of a child sex offence, and other charges relating to indecent photographs.

Claire Kelly, 36, of Yew Drive, appeared before Ipswich Magistrates' Court today (Friday, July 31) and will be sentenced in crown court.

She admitted charges of: Distributing indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child; Arranging or facilitating the commission of a child sex offence; and taking indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of a child.

All events took place between August 19-21 last year in Bury St Edmunds.

She distributed ten photos, and took three of a category B, and 13 of a category C.

Kelly has been ordered to sign the sex offender register.

She was released on unconditional bail and will be sentenced in Ipswich Crown Court at a yet-to-be confirmed date.
