A Bury St Edmunds bank shut its doors today for a precautionary deep clean amid the fight against coronavirus.
A member of staff at HSBC, in Abbeygate Street, has self-isolated so the premises are being deep-cleaned.
An HSBC UK spokeswoman said customers could continue to use mobile, online, video and telephone banking services or, customers could use the Post Office for day-to-day transactions.
She added that it was not possible to confirm when the branch would re-open.
