West Suffolk Business Festival website is live detailing all the events people can expect this year




The new website for this year’s much-anticipated West Suffolk Business Festival is now live.

The festival, now in its eleventh year, will take place between October 4 and 15 at various locations including Bury St Edmunds and Haverhill.

Festivities kick off with a brunch and networking event hosted by Bury-based business support organisation Menta.

Other events over the next two weeks include a lecture on business sustainability at West Suffolk College and courses on how to eat healthily to boost productivity, and leaderhship skills, at the University of Suffolk.

Cambridge Norwich Tech Corridor will be holding sessions on understanding the business funding journey and Oxford Innovation with be holding an event called Tech & Beer at the EpiCentre in Haverhill with speakers from the world of science and technology.

The business festival closes with the glittering showcase of the Bury Free Press Business Awards at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on October 15 which this year features 13 categories.

West Suffolk Council leader, John Griffiths, said: “The council is delighted to be working with partners to create this great event to support business development, skills growth, networking and more.”
