Eastgate Street in Bury St Edmunds closed due to fallen tree
A busy route was closed this morning as a fallen tree has blocked the road.
Eastgate Street in Bury St Edmunds was closed before the Barton Road roundabout between Mount Road and Hollow Road.
The county was hit with strong winds last night due to Storm Isha and the Met Office yellow weather warning for wind will be in place until midday.
As Compiegne Way is still closed, commuters in the town may need to find alternative routes.
The road reopened at around 11am today.
The fallen tree was first spotted by SuffolkNews in the early hours at around 1am.
