Stowmarket care home worker scoops national beauty title




A care home worker has swept the board in a beauty pageant.

Natasha Streatfield, 35, not only won the Mrs Atlantic Suffolk round of the national Atlantic beauty competition on April 24 – but was also crowned Mrs Atlantic, too.

The admin worker from Stowmarket also won best in fashion wear, best in swimwear, best in evening wear, best in interview, most popular, and best smile.

Natasha, who works at Stowlangtoft Hall nursing home, entered the virtual competition in memory of her grandad, who she lost to Alzheimer’s in 2019.

The competition also raised more than £9,000 for Mind.

There were 23 contestants over all for across the titles including Miss Atlantic, Miss Teen Atlantic, Miss Junior Atlantic and Ms Atlantic.

Natasha herself has raised £873 for both the Alzheimer’s Society and Mind over the past year.

“I was very surprised as I didn’t expect to win “ said Natasha.

"Granada would have been so proud.

"I will use my title to help further the cause of the Alzheimer's Society and Mind."
