Feltwell couple brighten up home with over 23,000 lights for annual Christmas display in support of My WiSH West Suffolk Hospital charity

A Feltwell couple have lit up their home in Western Close for Christmas, in a bid to raise money for the West Suffolk Hospital charity My WiSH.

Roy and Eva Cooke’s festive display is well-known in the community, as they have been draping their property in Christmas lights for over 20 years running now.

This year’s display features over 23,000 lights – and Mr Cooke told the Bury Free Press that visitors to Feltwell can expect some unique features this time round.

Mr Cooke said: “This year, I’ve got a 6-foot windmill, which I made this year entirely out of lights.”

So far this year, the Cookes have raised over £170 for My WiSH.

Anybody who wishes to donate towards the Cookes’ cause will find a donation box at the front of the house.

Alternatively, Mr Cooke welcomes direct donations to My WiSH.
