St Nicholas Hospice Care seeks musicians and entertainers to perform at second Sunset Walk, in Bury St Edmunds

Musicians and entertainers are being invited to showcase their talents at a fund-raising festival next month.

St Nicholas Hospice Care’s Sunset Walk is set to return to Bury St Edmunds for a second year on June 21.

In its debut year, 1,000 walkers took to the streets of Bury to support the hospice’s work across West Suffolk and Thetford.

This year, the charity is keen to create an even more vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

Charlie De-Moore, the hospice’s events manager, said: “We’re looking for brilliant local talent, from live bands and solo artists to street performers and dance troupes, to help bring a joyful energy to the night.

“Whether you’ve performed for hundreds or just at your local pub, we’d love to hear from you.”

Performers will help energise the crowd at key points along the route and in Abbey Gardens, where the walk begins and ends.
