Child bitten by dog in West Stow

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog jumped up at a child and bit them in West Stow.

The incident happened on Wednesday, at about 330pm, in King’s Forest.

The dog jumped up at the six-year-old child and bit them, though no injury was caused.

The dog's owner is described as being aged in her 40s, about five foot five inches tall, with blonde or light brown hair in pony tail.

She had two dogs with her and described as being 'scruffy' and mottled brown in colour.
