A14 eastbound carriageway in Bury St Edmunds reopens after crash

Both lanes of the A14 heading eastbound at Bury St Edmunds have reopened between junction 43 and junction 44 after a single-vehicle crash this morning.

Emergency services were called to the crash, near the Moreton Hall Interchange, at 7.50am.

One person has been taken to hospital by ambulance, but the severity of their injuries are not yet known.

Lanes heading in both directions were closed while police dealt with the incident.

An air ambulance was called, but then stood down.

Four fire crews were also called to the incident, but were also stood down at 8.36am.
