Concern for welfare of missing Halstead man with links to Bury St Edmunds

A 70-year-old man with links to Bury St Edmunds has been missing since July 31, police have said.

Martin Mellett is from Halstead in Essex, but Suffolk Constabulary has joined the appeal to find him.

A spokesman added: "He was wearing black and may have his walking aid with him with two shopping bags tied to it."
