Coronavirus: GeeWizz Charity founder Gina Long announces cancellation of all events

Bury St Edmunds charity GeeWizz has postponed all events in response to the latest guidance around coronavirus.

Gina Long, the charity's founder, said all events and projects have been postponed or cancelled 'as is sadly happening throughout every other industry and sector'.

"With the situation regarding the Coronavirus pandemic developing so fast and everything in our everyday lives changing so rapidly, we have had to postpone our global online fundraiser, which was to be announced next week, until further notice," she said.

"Please be assured that as a charity, our commitment to remaining a very special, very small local charity, one that helps change many local lives, stands fully."
