Coronavirus: The Apex in Bury St Edmunds shuts until further notice

The Apex venue in Bury St Edmunds has closed until further notice due to coronavirus.

A note on their website said: "Following the latest government advice, and alongside other UK venues, we regret to inform you that The Apex auditorium and studios will be closing until further notice.

"This decision has not been taken lightly and we have made this decision with the safety and well-being of our customers and staff in mind.

It said events would be postponed where possible, but that there may be some cancelled. Tickets holders would be contacted and refunded in these cases.

It added: "We ask all ticket holders to please avoid contacting The Apex.

"If you were due to visit us in the near future, we will contact you directly as soon as possible.

"We ask that you please bear with us at this unprecedented time.

"Thank you for your understanding, we very much appreciate your patience."
