Bury St Edmunds fire at top of grain silo attended by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service

Crews were sent after a fire broke out at the top of a grain silo in Bury St Edmunds.

Three fire engines were sent from Bury to the incident in Eastern Way just after 6.20am this morning.

A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the fire was small in size and was found at a 6th floor level.

Fire crews used an aerial ladder to put out the fire and finished around 25 minutes ago.
