Three crews called to fire believed to have been started deliberately at Brandon Country Park

Three crews were sent to a fire believed to have been started deliberately at a country park yesterday.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called at 6.49pm to the incident at Brandon Country Park.

Crews from Brandon, Mildenhall and Newmarket attended.

A spokesman said: "The attending crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire which is thought to have been started deliberately."

He said that information had been passed to the police.

The incident was dealt with by 7.20pm.
