Skulduggery in Stowmarket back for third event in 2020




Crime writing festival Skulduggery in Stowmarket is to return for a third edition from April 24-26.

Henry Brett, Louise Millar, Rebecca Tope and Simon Brett are among the authors set to take part.

More than 300 attended the 2019 event, which made the case for a third festival.

Stowmarket Library will host talks and Q&A sessions with authors, while events will kick-off with live music from local band Skiffuffle as well as a licensed bar and pizza.

Library manager Ursula Scott said: "This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better.

"We received great feedback from the event last year."

Other authors taking part include: Michael Jecks, JM Hewitt, Ruth Dugdall and Laura Purcell.
