Bury St Edmunds man robbed and assaulted in Tayfen Meadow

Police are appealing for information after a cyclist was robbed and assaulted on a Bury St Edmunds meadow.

The incidents occurred between 7.15pm and 8pm on May 10, on Tayfen Meadow.

A man on a red bike was approached by a group of about eight men who punched and kicked him and stole his mobile phone, tobacco and personal documents.

Also when he was leaving the area, a woman swung a punch at him but did not connect.
