A police pursuit in Bury St Edmunds has officers asking the public for dash cam footage of the incident.

Just before 5.50pm on Friday, September 7, a silver/grey BMW 530, believed to be stolen, was identified by police on the A14 eastbound.

They requested the vehicle to stop after exiting junction 43, which it failed to do so.

It pushed through traffic, finally stopping in Short Brackland where the four occupants ran towards the town centre.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. They were subsequently released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Their details are as follows: a 36-year-old man; a 32-year-old man; and a 14-year-old boy; all from east London; and a 34-year-old man from Southend-on-Sea.
