Delays at A134, A1302 and Southgate Street roundabout, in Bury St Edmunds, after car breaks down and spills oil

There are delays at a busy town roundabout after a car broke down and spilled oil onto the road.

Police were alerted to the incident at roundabout between the A134, A1302 and Southgate Street, in Bury St Edmunds, at 9am.

It is believed one lane is currently blocked.

Police have towed the vehicle away, however officers are awaiting the arrival of Suffolk Highways to clear the spillage.

Officers remain at the scene.

Delays are expected.
