Dental surgery could open in Fornham All Saints near Bury St Edmunds




Plans have been submitted to convert office space into a dental surgery near Bury St Edmunds.

Toofey Ltd have applied to West Suffolk Council to make the changes at The Flint House Heath Farm Business Centre in Tut Hill, Fornham All Saints.

A two storey front extension is planned, advertising boards would be created and renovations would be carried out inside.

Planning documents say the design of the new dental surgery would 'improve and enhance the overall property whilst respecting the form of the host property'.

The building is not thought to be listed.

Planning documents add: "Careful consideration has been given to the adopted roof form and selected materials, all in order to harmonise with the existing structure.

"It is considered the proposed extension with not detract from the appearance of the existing building but forms a modest addition that is in keeping with and respects the host dwelling."

Landscaping would remain unchanged on the plot of land and the existing car park would be retained with no reduction in the number of spaces for vehicles.

The Flint House Heath Farm Business Centre is located near to the Bury St Edmunds Golf Club.
