A ladder fell into the A14 near Ipswich earlier today and was hit by other vehicles.
It is thought the ladder had fallen from an unsecure load into lane one of the A14 just after junction 55 at Copdock.
At 12.26pm this afternoon Norfolk and Suffolk Roads and Armed Policing Unit put up a tweet about the incident. It read: "This is why the comercial vehicle unit is out dealing with insecure loads, the ladder was in lane one but hit by vehicles prior to our arrival which can cause damage or cause collisions."
