It’s every child’s dream to meet Father Christmas and in 1996 the Bury Free Press made that very dream a reality.
Tinsel was pulled from the cupboard, festive shapes were cut out of coloured card and families were invited into the BFP office in Bury St Edmunds’ King’s Road to meet Santa Claus.
Here are a selection of some of the photos taken from that very magical day:
Smiles all round
Pure delight
Festive fun
Was tartan in?
Cheeky chappy
The most wonderful time of the year
Too cool for Santa
A few tears
Toys, toys, toys
